About Me
My name is Sanya Arora and I am a Junior at the Latin School of Chicago. You can find me playing as a goalie for my lacrosse club, True Illinois or playing ice hockey as a forward for my High School team, Chicago Romans. In my free time I like to play my guitar, and my favorite songs to play are from One Direction. Every Winter, my passion for snowboarding takes me to the mountains out west - sometimes in Colorado, and other times in British Columbia.

My Goal
Last year, my deans at Latin School of Chicago introduced me to the Leading with a Heart Program, started by Bob Berk. While I have had a normal childhood, 1 out of 100 babies is born with CHD, and too many of them die. My goal was to raise $5,000 for A Giving Heart Foundation so they can help children have a chance at a normal life.
Stats
I biked 179 miles last spring and summer, though various neighborhoods of Chicago, and raised $4400. I wrote about each of my trips; you can read about them here.
